The RAF Mountaineering Association Journal is the official A4 journal of the RAF Mountaineering Association.

Founded in 1948 and the oldest of the three British Service mountaineering bodies, the Royal Air Force Mountaineering Association (RAFMA) is responsible to the RAF Sports Board for the sport of mountaineering within the Royal Air Force. RAFMA provides members with a variety of outdoor opportunities - hill walking, rock climbing, ski mountaineering, indoor climbing and meets in the Alps and Greater Ranges.
RAFMA is the official body
authorised to promote mountaineering as a sport within the RAF. This means that a variety of support is available to all members in terms of transport, kit and finance. In addition they are a part of the British Mountaineering Council (BMC) and RAFMA membership means club membership of the BMC.
The RAF Mountaineering Association is open to serving and ex-serving personnel and their dependants.
All major events and exhibitions are reported in full colour in the journal, which is produced annually in November.
