The Royal Welch Fusiliers

 Y Cymro (The Welshman) is the annual, A4 journal of  The Royal Welsh, which unites the regular, reserve and cadet infantry battalions of The Royal Welch Fusiliers and The Royal Regiment of Wales (24th/41st Foot). 
The Regiment has two roles, Armoured and Light Role Infantry, and forms the cutting edge of the Army. They deploy all over the world on operations, to areas such as Iraq, Afghanistan, Bosnia, Northern Ireland, the Falkland Islands and Sierra Leone.
The 1st Battalion are based at Dale Barracks in Chester and are due to stay in Chester for at least eight years, while the 2nd Battalion are based at Tidworth in Wiltshire.
